1. Introduction

OutfitSnap ("OutfitSnap," "we," "our," or "us") provides a mobile application that helps users upload clothing items, manage a digital wardrobe, and generate AI-based outfit visuals and related fashion content. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and what choices you have.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the app.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide directly

We may collect:

• Email address
• Name or display name
• Password credentials handled through Supabase Authentication
• Profile photo
• Body photo uploaded for reusable outfit try-on/generation
• Clothing item photos you upload to your wardrobe
• Outfit names, favorites, notes, and saved look selections
• Prompts or other text you submit for AI image generation or editing
• Customer support communications you send to us

3.2 Information generated when you use the service

We may create or store:

• AI-generated outfit images
• AI-generated image history
• Clothing category, subcategory, and color suggestions derived from uploaded clothing images
• Subscription status, entitlement status, purchase sync results, token balances, and token transaction history
• Saved outfit history and generation metadata
• Usage counters such as AI generation counts and daily usage limits

3.3 Technical and device-related data

We collect or receive limited technical data such as:

• App version and basic request metadata
• Authentication/session metadata
• A device identifier generated and stored by the app, which is sent to our backend to enforce free-generation limits per device
• Local app preferences such as language, theme, notification setting, onboarding state, remembered session state, and review-prompt state

We do not use the device identifier for advertising.

3.4 Purchases and payments

Apple processes in-app payments. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive or store:

• Product identifiers
• Subscription and renewal status
• Transaction identifiers
• Original transaction identifiers
• Purchase, expiration, refund, billing, and renewal event metadata

3.5 Notifications

If you enable notifications, the app may schedule local reminder notifications on your device. OutfitSnap currently uses local scheduled notifications rather than collecting a push token for remote marketing campaigns.

4. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

We do not intentionally collect:

• Contact lists
• Precise location data
• SMS or call logs
• Advertising IDs for ad targeting
• Biometric templates, facial geometry, or face recognition identifiers

The photos you upload may incidentally include your face or body, but OutfitSnap is not designed to identify you through biometric analysis.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and maintain user accounts
• Authenticate users and manage sessions
• Let you upload, store, organize, and delete wardrobe items
• Let you upload, reuse, and delete body photos and profile photos
• Generate AI outfit images and other AI image results
• Save outfit history and favorites
• Enforce feature limits, token usage, free-generation limits, and subscription entitlements
• Provide subscription restore and purchase synchronization
• Improve service reliability, security, and abuse prevention
• Respond to support issues and legal requests

We do not state that your content is used to train our own models.

6. How Photos and AI Processing Work

6.1 Clothing photos

Clothing images you upload are stored in our Supabase storage so they can appear in your wardrobe and be used in outfit generation.

6.2 Body photos

Your active body photo is stored so you can reuse it for future outfit generations. If you delete the active body photo, the current active reference is removed from your profile. However, a previously used body photo may remain referenced by saved or generated outfit history until those related records are removed or your account is deleted.

6.3 Profile photos

Profile photos are stored so they can be displayed in your account profile.

6.4 Generated images

Generated outfit images and other AI-generated images may be stored in your account history until you delete them or delete your account.

6.5 Face data

OutfitSnap does not intentionally extract facial landmarks, faceprints, or biometric identifiers for identity recognition. If a photo contains a face, it is processed only as part of the user-submitted image content needed to produce the requested result.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

If you are in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, we generally rely on:

• Contract: to provide the app and requested features
• Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve the service and prevent abuse
• Consent: where required, such as device permissions and optional notifications
• Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information by law

8. Sharing and Third-Party Services

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the app:

• Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage
• Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, subscription handling, and refund processing
• RevenueCat: subscription status, purchase syncing, and webhook-based entitlement processing
• Google Gemini / Google AI services: AI image generation and image processing flows
• FASHN: virtual try-on or outfit rendering workflows when enabled by our backend

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information.

We may also disclose information:

• To comply with law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government request
• To enforce our Terms
• To detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets

9. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, including:

• Account information: until account deletion, unless longer retention is legally required
• Wardrobe images, generated images, saved outfits, body photos, and profile photos: until deleted by you, removed through account deletion, or otherwise cleaned up by service operations
• Subscription and transaction records: as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance
• Device free-usage records: as needed to enforce free-generation limits and prevent abuse
• Local device preferences and session data: until you clear them, log out, uninstall the app, or the app overwrites/removes them

If you delete your account, we aim to delete the related profile data, storage objects, and associated records from our systems, subject to limited retention required for security, legal compliance, or payment/accounting records.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request a copy of certain data
• Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent

You can also:

• Delete clothing items, generated images, saved outfits, and your active body photo within the app
• Delete your account from the app
• Cancel subscriptions through Apple
• Disable notifications in the app or device settings

11. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Children

OutfitSnap is intended for users aged 9 and older. We do not knowingly allow children under 9 to create or use an account. If you believe a child under 9 has provided personal data through the app, contact us and we will review the request and take appropriate action.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including authenticated access controls and encrypted transport where supported. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. App Permissions

Depending on your use of the app, OutfitSnap may request access to:

• Camera
• Photo library / media library
• Photo library add/save access
• Local notifications

These permissions are used to support core app features such as uploading clothing photos, uploading a body photo, saving generated looks to your gallery, and scheduling reminders.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after the update becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your future use, to the extent permitted by law.
